Situation: The Challenge
CITTI, a long‑established travel agency offering tailor‑made journeys, wanted to relaunch its website to match the luxury and storytelling that defines its brand. The existing digital presence didn’t showcase the depth of their bespoke itineraries or convey the authenticity and cultural immersion that clients value. CITTI needed a platform that would inspire trust, differentiate them from mass‑market travel sites and facilitate inquiries across local, international and cruise offerings. The site had to communicate CITTI’s mission, to craft unforgettable journeys that spark a lifelong love for the world—while supporting a wide range of services from visa assistance and travel insurance to corporate MICE planning.
Task: The Objective
To ensure the redesign met CITTI’s ambitious goals, we set out to:
- Develop a premium digital experience that reflects CITTI’s mission to craft unforgettable journeys.
- Present CITTI’s services, personalised itineraries, seamless logistics, travel insurance, visa assistance, MICE and leisure packages, in a clear, accessible way.
- Showcase the agency’s rich story and heritage, from its 1994 founding and corporate relationships to its mission and vision statements, and weave these narratives throughout the site.
- Create individual destination pages and tour summaries that immerse visitors in culture, comfort and connection.
- Encourage prospective clients to inquire and book by showcasing tour options, testimonials and a simple planning form.
- Provide CITTI’s team with an easy‑to‑manage CMS for updates, specials and new itineraries.
- Ensure the site is fully responsive, optimised for search, speed and accessibility.
Action: The Solution
Lot Designs designed and built a bespoke Webflow site anchored in storytelling and usability:
- Immersive UI/UX: We used large, evocative imagery and a warm, sophisticated colour palette inspired by travel and exploration. The design highlights CITTI’s promise of culture, comfort and connection.
- Narrative‑driven architecture: Sections flow from inspirational messaging (“See the world differently”) through mission and vision statements to detailed service descriptions and itineraries. We incorporated dedicated pages for local, international and cruise trips, as well as Citti Elite membership and MICE services.
- Compelling copy and storytelling: We aligned the copy with CITTI’s mission and vision, emphasising unique journeys, cultural immersion and the agency’s long‑standing relationships.
- Performance and SEO optimisation: Built in Webflow, the site features responsive layouts, compressed images, semantic HTML and a clean information hierarchy. We implemented proper meta tags, alt text and a sitemap to improve indexation.
- Training and handoff: We provided CITTI’s team with documentation on updating tours, blogs and promotions in Webflow, ensuring the site stays fresh and relevant.
